DUE PROCESS PROBLEM Ted Sheeran has many bad habits. Among them is staying up all night and showing up late for work. His job, an analyst with the Arizona Corporation Commission, requires a lot of collaboration with his coworkers. Unfortunately his coworkers often say he \"doesn't care" and that he has an annoying tendency to \"think out loud." However, his employment is protected by contract and his work is generally adequate. He works for the state and can only be fired for cause. One day, though, he was in a conference room working on a project when he would not stop looking at a vase in the corner of the room. Thinking it was ugly, he ran to the vase screaming \"I'm not in love with the shape of you," threw it on the ground and shattered it into hundreds of tiny pieces. His boss then ran into the room, told Ted to get out and never come back. He was red. Later he received a formal letter stating he was fired due to erratic behavior, showing up late, and not being engaged with his work. Ted feels that his due process rights were violated as he was never given notice or an opportunity to be heard. He claims he should have had the opportunity to defend himself before an informal committee of unbiased adjudicators. Is he right
