During Week 1, we will examine the various financial statements prepared by accountants. Review the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows and discuss the uses of the statements as well as the end-users of them. Discuss who you think is most interested in particular statements. For instance, if you were visiting a bank for a loan, which statement would they be most interested in seeing? Which one(s) would investors be interested in? Managers or Department head?
