As you just read, effective leaders have a variety of knowledge, skills, and experience that make them successful. In this discussion, think about qualities that you are developing in your current position that would prepare you for a job with such diverse requirements. You can also consider examples of these qualities that you have seen in action in your organization. Create a post that discusses the following: 1. Provide a brief description of your organization. Include information on any critical departmental goals or challenges. 2. Identify three qualities, skills, or behaviors that you are developing and why they are important to develop to be successful as a facilities leader or other similar leadership position. 3. Provide some rationale for why you think each quality is critical to successful leadership and describe the key factors that are helping you develop these skills (e.g., training, on-the-job experience, mentoring) 4. Identify one action you can take in the next six months to further develop one of these skills.
