Quick Case Something we call "ghosting" has set in where people are working more hours than they are booking in order to hit their targets and look good for the employer, "Ghosting" Has Become the Norm on our are working more hours than they are booking in order to hit their Remote Working Team targets and look good for the employer. When we worked together in the studio and clocked in and out, all hours were counted and paid for-including overtime. Now that ghosting has spread throughout the remote team, most, perhaps all, of us are not charging for all hours worked. My chats with good friends on the team indicate that not everyone is happy with how things are going, yet they also feel they don't have any choice but to do their own ghosting. With jobs being scarce no one wants to look bad and risk not getting hired for future projects. As for me, I'm just happy to have a job and my pride won't let me do less than quality work anyway. Everyone on the team has just received a request from our proj- ect leader to provide feedback on the remote working situation and offer ideas for how things can be improved in the future.
