Deciding the best way to do this will depend on office flow, the needs and goals of the office and how best to organize staff. This article discusses 3 different ways staff can be trained in a new system. Super-User training - This training consists of selecting various staff members who may offer a better ability to adapt to a new system and have more intense training in the new system. They provide internal office specific training after basic training is given to staff. They help with hints, tricks, and advice once the system has gone live and are available to help throughout the day. Role-Based training - This training is more user specific. Training sessions with specific groups of staff members on only the areas of the new system they will be using. Process-Based training - This training helps staff understand how new workflows will be implemented with the new systems. I have personally been involved in new system training on a few occasions.
