Emma and Rufus are on holiday, so you must induct the new staff members yourself. To do so, you must:

A. Arrange all details for their induction (e.g. day, time, location and others);

B. Remind them to bring the copies of their original certificates and other documents, if required (e.g. Food safety certificate, coffee-making course certificate of attainment);

C. Create an induction checklist for ALL THREE (3) job roles that includes the names and the initials columns for the discussion about all aspects relevant to the job role, including you receiving the originals and making copies of the documents. Make sure you include the spot for the signatures and the dates.

D. Create a memo to affix onto the notice board about the induction to all other employees, including the manager on duty to minimise disruptions and asking if there are concerns related to the time and date you chose.

E. Lastly, update the folders for the three (3) candidates you have inducted.

Note: Remember to have yourself and the candidates' initials on the induction documents and the dates.
