A new employee at a workplace has experienced bullying as he is from a different culture and has difficulties communicating due to english being his second language. This has resulted in the victim showing signs of aggression and cursing at other employees in his native tongue. What emotional intelligence and managerial skills can you use to recognise the victims emotions? How can you use emotional intelligence theory to support the victim in recognising the effect of his own emotions in the workplace?
