CONCEPT REVIEW:

Employment law is the large body of laws, administrative rulings, and precedents that encompass all areas of the employer/employee relationship. Today, federal and state governments impose a number of conditions on the employment relationship. Business owners and managers need to understand these laws so they do not face any fines or criminal penalties as a result of not complying with the laws.
