A solution contains the following mixture: $4{10}^{-4}N{a}_{2}C{O}_3+{10}^{-4}NaHC{O}_3+{10}^{-3}Na{H}_{2}P{O}_4+{10}^{-3}HCl.$ Find the equilibrium $pH$ and equilibrium concentration of all species in the system.

$($a$)$ Use numerical solution to create a charge balance in spreadsheet $($Hint: refer to Week $4$ slide $50-$ charge neutrality$).$ Be sure to identify all the species, list out relevant equilibrium constants, mass balances, and charge balance. Comment on whether this approach is a viable process to solve the problem.

$($b$)$ Solve the above problem using the graphical approach with a modified charge balance equation $($Week $5$ slides$).$ Be sure to follow the steps:

a$.$ Plot the $logC$ vs $pH$ diagram for the system.

b$.$ Identify the dominant species in the system.

c$.$ Prepare the system tableau using the dominant species as components $($hint: use $H_{2}O,H^{+},N{a}^{+},C{l}^{-}$in addition to the dominant species identified in $($b$)$ as components$).$

d$.$ Calculate the equilibrium constant for the resulting reactions for each species.

e$.$ Prepare the Input Species Tableau.

f$.$ Plot the modified CB equation: LHS and RHS over the $logC$ vs $pH$ diagram from $($a$).$
