Forthis, please begin by finding a passage that presents an argument.Your passage can come from a newspaper or magazine, print or online source, from a blog post, or from just about anywhere. The main requirement is that the passage present an argument. (Avoid using articles that are set up as lists. The article must be different from articles posted for previous assignments.)

Once you have selected an article, you need to analyze and evaluate it. That is, clearly list the support and conclusion (along with any tributaries). Identify the argument's implicit question and list at least two serious rival conclusions. Then evaluate the argument. Say whether the argument is strong or weak, and explain whyyou think that, using the tools of the course.
