Some of those benefits include yoga classes at work, lunch-and-learn topics with wellness themes, cash incentives for great ideas, and years-of-service rewards which encourage loyalty.
For your initial post this week, pick a company you like (i.e., a favorite restaurant chain, travel company, technology seller, car dealer or manufacturer, etc.), and design a non-cash benefit package that you feel would encourage the right types of employees to apply and work there. Your post should:
Explain why you would offer each specific benefit, and how it would fit into the culture and type of employees/jobs offered at that organization.
Provide details about tax benefits, required benefits, and costs inherent to the benefits you recommend be provided.
State whether your plan would appeal most to younger, midlife, or older workers (and why). Would you limit benefits to workers themselves or extend them to their family members (and why). (Note - you cannot simply state that you would offer a cafeteria plan of benefits. You must list and state the exact benefits you would offer).
Include at least three (3) non-cash benefits in your initial post's discussion.
