This includes developing innovative strategies, following contemporary practices in sustainability, and the promotion of environmental responsibility. What Do I Need to Do? Using the templates below you will create two (2) plans as follows: 1. Design, implement and evaluate an Environmental Responsibility Plan for the service, based on your review and consultation. This should be based on the review you conducted in Task 1. 2. You will need to design, implement and evaluate a plan to enhance two (2) aspects of environmental responsibility for an education and care service. 3. When designing and collaborating you will need to: Research contemporary practice relating to environmental responsibility; Review service operations in line with contemporary practices; Consult with stakeholders; I dentify opportunities for improvement; Document outcomes of implementation; and Share outcomes and evaluation of plan implementation with supervisor. 4. Ensure environmentally sustainable practices are embedded in daily practice of the service where possible. 5. Complete the template below identifying the: Area of change; SMARTT goals to achieve; Measures of success; Intentional Teaching strategies; Children's role in change; . . . Consultation and collaboration with Stakeholders; Link to community; and Links to NQS. 6. Please ensure that you research and implement contemporary practice relating to environmental responsibility. For example - do not turn a recycling object into a non-recyclable object e.g. adding glitter to a recyclable container, which then becomes non-recyclable. 7. You must involve all stakeholders including children. 8. In relation to children you must: Consult with children to develop innovative strategies that promote environmentally responsivity; Support children to take the lead in identifying practices that are environmentally responsible; and Encourage children to exchange thoughts and ideas. 8. Discuss this with your supervisor and implement practices in line with centre policies and procedures. 9. Evaluate your plan answering the questions in the templates below
