Minutes submitted by: Navjinder Singh Approved by: Muhammad Ali Shahid,Marketing Cormnunication Plan Spirit of Giving 1.Executive Summary: Our team is organizing an event with the help of the Khwahish foundation to donate money. It is a group project from our course called Marketing project management. The group has assigned work to contact any Charity foundation and help the organization raise funds. However, we are working on the plan, which we have created, to organize this event. We have completed the important parts of the project which include factors like risks, scopes of the project, stakeholders to which this project is going to be helpful. We have sent the letter to the charity organization to discuss the plan. We are going to take the help of college and social media platforms to raise the funds for charity. Due to COV'ID, we were unable to organize the face-to- face meetings with the group members and people. Despite having a face-tofacc meeting, we are trying to give our best to raise money from this event. 2.3ackground: GPRC Business Administration has given us this opportunity to be a part of and help charities to make an easy move into their daily functions of contributing to society and make the lives of those better who are in need. With this spirit of giving our idea om the start has been to contribute and help those in need, those who don't have a shelter or can't afford to eat or buy food. Especially in times like these when the world is on a complete or partial shutdown, the essence of our idea drives for the better good even more. Working with a charity will help us see the world in a different way as a little from us can be a part of a big movement and can help people we don't know. 3.Goals and Objectives: To successfully reach out to families that have been affected by malnutrition due to inadequate intake of food. The goal of this year is to reach more families in the food donation than the previous years in that it has been a disastrous year with the effects of the pandemic. The program should be more effective in such hard times. Brief Summary of Team Bonding To Be Added... Letter to Charity SOCIAL ELITE MARKETING Rotary House, 10101 97A St Grande Prairie, Alberta, TSX OS3, Attention; Priyanka Minhas, Dear Kathy, Re; GPRC Marketing Student Project This is Muhammad Ali Shahid, a member of Social Elite Marketing group and second year management student at GPRC. I am reaching out to you on behalf of my team and GPRC as we were assigned for a project to work with charities and we decided that your organization fits our requirements well. My team includes Muhammad Ali (myself), Sanchit Kundra, Navjinder Singh, Davinder Sidhu and Niranjan Klota. We have studied a lot about your organization which provides shelter and support to homeless people. As we all know, donors who donate in person are not able to provide donations due to Covid-19. Our team proposed an idea of arranging a fundraiser event to generate funds for Khwashish Foundation of Grande Prairie. We know that there are so many people who still need help to get shelter and support and for that we came up with different methods of raising funds. Would you be willing to arrange a meeting to discuss further about this fundraiser. Our main goal is to help Khwahish Foundation raise more money for those in need and achieve higher goals. Please contact Muhammad Ali Shahid at (780)830-9126 or email at muhammad.shahid@gprcstudents.net for more information. For authenticity and further inquiry about the project, please contact our class professor at (780)539-2221 or email at cvasileiou@gprc.ab.ca Regards, Muhammad Ali Shahid, Social Elite Marketing Marketing Project Management class4.Situational Analysis: This Event is organized by the Social Elite carrying out in Grande Prairie city. The key areas that are targeted include the dilapidated neighbourhoods where a lot of households live in states of poverty. This year, the food donation will be carried out on last week of November. Marketing will be critical to ensure that the event is carried out with success. This year, it is faced with uncertainty due to the Covid19 Pandemic that has affected the normalcy. The marketing has been largely facilitated by mainstream media outlets. The basic need is to reach out on other platforms for preventive measures to be put in place before the event. 5.Strategic Summary: The organizers of Spirit of Giving events have the previous data of the most affected households. The information sh0uld be leveraged to better understand how to lay down the protocols to be observed on that donation day. The area administrators should be contacted to ensure that the event has been a success. 6.Target Audiences: Internal 0 Khwahish foundation members I Class students 0 GPRC foundation members External 0 Members of society 0 Friends and Family 0 Donors IKey Messages: This group project gives us the opportunity to not only increase our team bonding, cooperation, and skills but also learn new things on a daily basis. The project team has created a comprehensive plan to mitigate the risk involved in successfully completing the project. Our key messages for the donation program are: - 0 Helping people in need 0 Fullling the necessity of poor people 0 Everyone is allowed to donate ...... No to Racism 8.Tactical rollout plan: We will use the website Gofundme.com because it is well designed for charity purposes. However, we are unable to reach people directly, so we will take the help of Facebook and Instagram to let people know about our event. We will also use banners to promote the name of our charitable trust which will be benecial for people to donate more in the future.
