Essay Question The role of a manager is always changing. Though the traditional functions and roles of a manager are relatively easy to define, in practice it is impossible to predict what you as a manager will be required to do. In your essay, you should address the following questions that reflect some of the factors that make each manager's role different (Each question can act as a heading for a section. 1. It can be argued that managers are constrained by the environment in which they work. Discuss how the sociocultural and/or technological aspects of the general environment might impact on decision making.
