Ethics

In Chapter $3,$ we will discuss businesses and social responsibility $($CSR$).$ Some believe incorporating CSR into a company's business model is the ethical thing to do$.$ Others hold that a company will operate ethically as it is in their financial interest to do so$.$

For this discussion, each student should pick a company. Then analyze if the company is operating ethically under CSR standards. You may pick a national company, a large local company, or even a small business. Do research about the company, and provide specific examples to support your conclusion. If another student picks the same company, but draws a different conclusion, you may wish to reply to their post. Keep all comments in a professional tone.

Your grade will be based upon the totality of your analysis. Only meaningful contributions will receive points. Simply agreeing with another students post will not earn points.
