Event Floor Plan and Layout

Describe or share in detail visuals of the floor plan and layout of the event $($keep your theme going$).$ Event floor plans show all the components that will make up the location for a particular event. This includes the walls of the room, outdoor areas, windows, doors, fixed furniture, dance floors, stages, and objects, movable furniture, power outlets, designated areas, and more. Movement and unimpeded layouts create a comfortable and natural space even inside a highly curated, formal event floorplan. Yet that same floor plan must balance comfort with safety and practicality. Where will the tables, chairs, food service areas, entertainment location, gift tables for weddings, sign in areas $$ you want to convey what the room layout will look like. The actual design $($all the eye$-$appeal stuff$)$ comes later $$ this is just the room floor plan.

If there are any restrictions that should be noted such as non$-$smoking. Also include any ADA impacts $$ most venues comply with ADA accessibility standards. ADA facility compliance includes but is not limited to:

Safe, sturdy, and clear wheelchair ramps

Aisles and routes with ample enough space for wheelchairs, medical equipment maneuvering.

ADA$-$compliant exit signs, room signs and restroom signage

Designated handicapped parking.

Working lifts and elevators

Table access for those in wheelchairs or using medical support equipment.

Optional podiums or daises for American Sign Language translator

If doing an outdoor event, it will often present nuanced challenges for equipment, staff and attendees so describing the floor plan and layout is important $$ be sure to have contingent plans for unexpected weather conditions!
