Ever wonder how to stay informed and thus able to collect necessary data to draw your own conclusion. There is so much information out there, it is difficult to determine what's actual descriptive data versus someone else's inference and opinion. Let's have a look with a more critical eye.

• What/where is the source of your information when you want to know more about your community, the city of Houston, the state of Texas, the country or the world?
• For the next week, keep you eyes open for a piece of article that is pretending to be a new report but it is merely someone's opinion. Share a link to the offending article or video. If the article is not online, then post a pic or scan the article. Make sure it is readable.Explaining what led you to conclude the article/video is inferential rather than descriptive.
