Every day we encounter advertisements using these types of appeals.Some advertisements use rational appeals while others use emotional appeals. Emotional appeals, in particular, can either be positive or negative. Positive appeals include humor, sex, and feel good appeals, while negative appeals include fear, guilt, and shame appeals (as shown below).

1. Describe how u would use one of these ad appeals in an advertisement topromote recycling among the general public.
2. U can choose the type of advertisement. For example, it could be a social media post, display ad, a print ad in a magazine, a radio or television commercial, an email, a flyer, out-of-home, product labelling, waste receptacle labelling, etc.
