Executive Summary

The entire business idea is the concept of beginning a small manufacturing firm that specializes in the production of traceable bags and their subsequent sale to companies. The primary challenge that this concept for a business intends to address is the problem of ensuring that the items are sent to the appropriate customers. This could happen for several different reasons, such as the delivery person misplacing the item while trying to deliver it, delivering it to the wrong place, or even stealing the item and marking it as delivered. The company would be a small-scale manufacturer of packages that would specialize in the production of traceable bags through GPS tracking, RFID tagging, or other similar technology, enabling companies to track their products in real time for commercial distribution. The start-up costs, which would be close to $25,000, would cover things like rent, license fees, badge design, advertising, and other related expenses. The business will generate enough revenue from sales to cover the cost of materials, labor, and other expenses.

Project Scope

The objective of this project is to develop a real-time delivery tracking system for restaurants and bars. The delivery package will allow customers to track the status of their orders from the time the order is placed to the time it is delivered to their doorstep. The product will also provide restaurant and bar owners with the ability to track their delivery drivers in real-time, manage their delivery schedules, and monitor the progress of deliveries.

The scope of this project includes the following deliverables: -

• Development of a traceable package for customers and restaurant/bar owners.
• Integration of GPS tracking technology in the package.
• Integration of a scheduling and monitoring system for restaurant/bar owners to manage their delivery drivers and track deliveries.
• Testing and validation of the package to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Implementation of the product in at least 10 participating restaurants and bars in the local area.
