At the end of this lab, the students should record: The appearance of the original oil and the gas Whether the oil and gas burn Whether the oil and gas smell The effect of the oil and the gas on aqueous bromine water and acidified Potassium Permanganate Plz I need the answer of the following :
1- Purpose of the Experiment: Summarize the objectives in a form of paragraph using your own words.
2- Planned Procedure: Summarize the steps of the procedure and mention if there's any hazardous chemicals and the disposal of it.
3- Changes to the planned procedure: Mention any changes that were made while performing the lab. If there's no changes, then you need to write down that no changes were made and the procedure was performed according to the instructions sheet.
4-. Results, Data, and Observations: This section includes drawing tables and answering the observation questions that are within the procedure. Regarding the tables, you should write a title for each table, and make a neat and organized format of the table including the labelling. After each table, leave a blank page in order to answer the observation questions.
5-. Analysis of Results: You will answer the questions at the end of the lab report in this section. Please don't write questions as the heading, also you don't have to rewrite the questions on your copybook, just write the number of the question and the answer.
6-. Conclusion: a. Paraphrase the purpose+ procedure of experiment b. Summarize what did you get after performing the experiment, and compare it with the purpose. Did you achieve the objective of the experiment? c. Mention if there were any slight differences to your results compared to the theoretical ones and state what could be the possible sources of error d. Suggest possible solutions for the sources of error and any further suggestions for improving the conditions of the experiment.
