I hope everyone is having a lovely week. The positive thing that happened to me this week is that my car play is working again in my car. The thing works when it wants to and on Tuesday, it decided to work again!


I believe that when you are conduction a training session, you must tailor it to your audience/leaners. Particularly when there is a culture barrier between your students and you. You must be sensitive to their culture as well. Something that may socially acceptable here in the US, may be considered inappropriate in the international country. I do not believe that the training should be a one size fits all, since there are challenges that arise from training an international class. The language barrier is going to be the biggest challenge, as you want to ensure that they are taking away the objectives of the training and not offend by the content of your training.

A way to overcome those obstacles, may be by having an interpreter help you facilitate the course, but that could also be costly and time consuming. Another way to overcome those challenges is to tailor the training to that group, where the training is done through video learning. A pre-recorded training video will be made in the student's language, so they can understand the material fully, and it is tailored to their culture.
