Farah went shopping for Christmas at the Imago Hypermall in Kota Kinabalu. Since Farah bought a lot of things, she decided to leave them at the counter that offered storage service while she continued her shopping. She has been charged RM10.00 for the service. The attendant at the counter issued a ticket to Farah to enable her to reclaim her things later. On the ticket it was written: "Missing or damage of the things stored is at own risk". When Farah returned to the counter to collect her things, she found that some of her things were missing including her brand-new camera. She was upset and went to see the manager to claim for compensation. However, the manager, Mr Bakar, refused the claim. Advise Farah as to her legal rights in the above situation. Need IRAC.
