Feedback of this statement. A few years ago I was working in downtown Los Angeles. I was an IT Contractor for a large insurance company. I ended up making great relationships there and the insurance company wanted to offer me a full time position. They pretty much said I had the job but the downside of it is that the position was in New York. I thought about this great opportunity for a few days but I decided to stay local as all of my friends and family are here. Looking back I would have taken that position. The reason I say this is because I believe it would have advanced my career greatly and I would be making a lot more money now. Also, I could have always visited my friends and family when needed. Consumers make choices on purchasing products based on quality, style, and status. Unfortunately, I believe most consumers buy name brand items to show it off to strangers for example nice cars. The consumer wants to look successful and stylish and will drop a lot of money which they don't have just so they can ride in a Beamer or Mercedes. Don't get me wrong I want one of these cars but only when I can afford it. Other consumers buy for the quality or price of a product
