Figure Q1 shows a motorized wheelchair system that can be controlled via brain Electroenchapalogram (EEG) signal. ENCODERS FIGURE Q1 - 12 - (BEKC 4873) This system works by sensing user's brain activity. Using EEG sensor, complex human brain's electrical activity will be detected to identify whether the user is focusing or relaxing. If the EEG sensor indicates a high brain activity (user is focusing to move), DC motor on the wheelchair is tum causing the wheelchair to move. Speed of the DC motor is regulated based on the intensity of user's brain activity (more focus = faster ). Based on the Al technique that you have learned in your lectures, propose a technique that is suitable for the following task: 1) Classification of the EEG signal in order to indicate user's brain activity. 2) An algorithm to control the speed of the DC motor, based on the previous EEG classification HINT: Choose ONE (1) technique for each of the given task; this technique must be unique for each. Justify your answer by explaining how the chosen technique can be used to accomplish the given task. (10 marks)
