A gear Q of mass 4 kg with a radius of gyration, kA of 0.12 m about point A is welded together with member ABC. At the instant shown, member ABC and gear Q are actuated by gear P as shown. Given AB = 0.4 m and BC = 0.3 m. 

 

Determine: 

a) the free body diagram (FBD) and kinetic diagram (KD) for the system 

b) tangential force, F exerted by gear P at point D 

c) components of the reaction at point A.
