Create a business. Write a brief business plan. In your plan, you should address such issues as:
Description: What problem is your business trying to solve for customers?
: Why you formed as the type of structure. What are the benefits? What are the drawbacks?
Regulatory Environment: What agencies regulate your business? What type of licenses/permits are required?
Unpaid Accounts: How will you deal with collections?
Space Requirements: Are you buying or renting space? What type of lease agreement are you looking for? (You should include clauses that you must have for your lease and things you would hope for. Please do not draft an entire lease but show that you understand what you need; for example, a restaurant would want to make sure to keep fixtures such as the tables if it failed. You do not need to worry if these are normally granted, but you need to show you are thinking through the issue and if the clause isn't approved, provide your alternative.
Personnel: What staff would you include?
Ethics: How should the business ethically respond to issues and fulfill its corporate responsibility?
The paper must be at least twelve (12) pages but no longer than twenty (20) pages, double-spaced type-written (12-point Calibri font). Written work will also be evaluated for composition and grammar.
