Final Paper Your final will be a six to eight page (double-spaced) analysis of one of the following movies or episodes: (1) the first episode of When They See Us on Netflix; (2) Marshall on Amazon Prime Video; (3) Season 5, Episode 10: "Black Like Us" of Black-ish on Hulu or ABC; (4) Hidden Figures on Disney+; (5) Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight on YouTube for rent; or (6) Loving on Netflix. Your paper must include (1) a summary of the event or topic of the film/episode, (2) how police questioning, rights of the accused, or civil rights have evolved over time, (3) societal and cultural issues surrounding the topic of the film/episode, (4) why minorities are the target of such treatment and systemic oppression, (5) relation to current events, (6) relation to what you read in your textbook, and (7) relation to at least three academic sources. Your paper must be in MLA or APA format. Your final paper will be worth 100 points.
