Final Project Part B

In this component, we are going to look at providing IT for our business. To help, I have listed some questions that should be answered. Make sure to explain your answer if asked for. If you can think of anything extra you will need, add it to the last question. Each question is worth 1 point out of 10, except question 1 which is worth 3 points and Q8 is worth none.

Q1. For your company (Toothpaste), you will require some IT infrastructure. For example, I may wish to rent some IT infrastructure services from companies like AWS or keep my IT infrastructure in-house or go with a hybrid model that uses both. Choose what is best for your business and explain why you think it is so. There are lots of factors that will go into this decision based on your business. You should answer the following areas or explain why it does not apply to you:

A) Do you think your business will need a lot of scalability quickly? For example, say that I believe AWS will best meet my needs for my car service business. I chose to go with AWS for infrastructure because it is very scalable. Since this is a new business and I am not sure if it will expand fast, going with AWS gives me great scalability options.

B) what method will provide the best availability from the workplace and or working from home? Explain.

C) What method will give the best ability to collaborate on projects with other employees and or stakeholders?

Q2. What software will you and your employees use in the business? Just list the software you think you will need. You don't need to explain this one.

Q3. What software will be pushed out to your clients? For example, are you going to have an app or some electronic feedback mechanisms (at this point, just say in a general sense)? For example, I will have an app for my car service business so clients can book and pay online.

Q4. Are you going to keep a knowledge base? If yes, say what the knowledge base will hold. If no, explain why you don't think a knowledge base will add value to your stakeholders.

Q5. Will you use data analytics to monitor your IT services to give you an overall portrait of real-time statistics? Why or why not. You should explain your choice in terms of why it provides value or why not if you do not see it providing value.

Q6. Which method (cloud, local IT infrastructure, or a hybrid) will best provide you with up-to-date monitoring of your IT services for things like mean-time of availability, the number of service desk reports, mean time to solve issues, etc? Explain.

Q7. Every business today holds some confidential information in its IT infrastructure. List what you will be storing that will need some security. For example, my car service will be holding my clients' addresses and credit card information.

Q8. Is there any other IT services you would
