• What are the typical teaching and learning tools used for the learning of content in your discipline?
• What concepts and stories counted as knowledge and what tools were used for you to gain that knowledge?
• Provide at least one example of a person from a diverse background who has added to the field of knowledge in the content area you teach and describe this person's contribution to the field.
• How can you ensure that all stories are shared in the classroom? How do you determine which stories should be shared? How does this relate to critical thinking? Teachers who strive to be culturally responsive should celebrate the stories of their students (Bell, 2010).
