Your client (3) may want to cruise on any of the cruise lines we have discussed, to any destination in the world! Use the worksheets and notes to help you answer the questions. The following elements should be included with each suggeson: The cruise line The ship The destination The itinerary The cabin category Choose 4 scenarios of the following 8 choices to discuss. You are only discussing 4 of these scenarios! SCENARIOS Make recommendations for the following scenarios of your choice- remember you only need to choose 4! 1 . Adam and Nicole are captured cruisers. They are in their early 40's and are fairly active. They took an Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Dawn Princess last year and loved it. They would like to celebrate their 10th anniversary on December 1th on a cruise! They have been planning for this special cruise and would like a vacation to remember. They want to see interesting ports but not cruise in the Caribbean again. 2 . Tim and Susan Robbins are looking forward to their 3rd cruise. They both enjoy snorkeling. Tim loves photography and Susan enjoys exploring old ruins. Tim owned a software company that was recently purchased by Microsoft. They want to leave in the middle of December. They would like to get away and relax and have fun after so many years of working hard to build their business. What are some suggestions you may have for Tim and Susan to upgrade their vacation to make it very special? 3. Sal and Marge Wilcott love to cruise. They have cruised to Mexico, through the Panama Canal, and the Caribbean on three different cruises. They have cruised on the big three Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Princess. They are planning for their next cruise vacation in September. They would really like to do something different, but what? 4. Minnie and Severt Viddal are in their early 603. They love to golf and are strongly considering a cruise. They are not sure of the cruise line or the destination, so they have come to you for advice. Neither of them enjoys cooking, so they go out to eat almost every night. They are restaurant buffs and love to try different cuisines especially while on vacation. They are not particularly interested in cruises that have lots of people. They do not have any time restrictions for the length of this vacation. What would you recommend? 5. Dutch and Bernadette are about to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Both are retired. They usually take about three vacations a year. One of their favorite resorts is the Hotel Bora Bora. They typically stay about 3 weeks. This year, they are looking to do something different. They are not sure whether they want to be on a cruise with thousands of people, but are open to suggestions. They would probably consider a 14- day cruise vacation if it were the right cruise line and ship. 6. Agnes and Gene LaRoche are interested in a cruise. They have been to Hawaii several times. They have cruised in the Caribbean many times. Agnes loves the sun, the surf and the sand. Gene loves to visit new places. They are open as to when they can leave, but they can only be away for about 10 days. What would you recommend? 7. Dan and Digne Garber are avid cruisers. They have cruised in Europe, the Caribbean (too many times to count), Hawaii, Mexico and the Mediterranean. They love to see new places, they enjoy fine dining, and they are both retired so they have a lot of time to enjoy this cruise vacation. 8. Mabel Miller is in her 80's. Her husband passed away several years ago. She loves to travel, but is finding it more and more difficult to take a tour (too much walking, although she is in pretty good health).
