Find an online interview with a person that identifies themselves with a particular minority group in the workforce. Some examples of groups are, but not limited to: EAL, visible minorities, ethnic minorities, religious minorities, Indigenous, LGBTQ, age, gender, people living with visible or non-visible disabilities, and other minority groups.

• The interview should be a minimum of 5 to 7 minutes in length. The interview should include information about the situational, dispositional, and institutional challenges faced by this worker. When viewing the interview, ask yourself whether there is enough information that would suggest managerial strategies to support the worker's success in the workforce.
• An audio interview with the same qualities would work as well.
• Watch the interview and take note of any challenges that the employee encounters in the workplace.
• In your PLC, post a profile of the person, and a summary of their interview responses, Also, provide list of strategies and justifications for those strategies that you would employ if you were the employee's manager to support their success in the workplace.

Format

• PLC post including the following elements:
  • A profile of the interviewee including the group that they identify with.
  • A summary of the interviewee's workplace challenges due to their group identity.
  • A list of strategies for working with this person and a justification of the validity of each. For each strategy, also explain how each would likely impact and support your interviewee overcome some of the challenges they face in the workplace.
