In the critique provide sufficient information of the reader to know what the article is all about and enough analysis and evaluation to help you decide whether or not you will use the article in your essay: Use these guidelines in the critique: 

.Filter the information by creating a list of headings and subheadings. If the article has no headings, list the main ideas. 

.Define the premise or purpose of the argument and the reasoning strategy used

. Provide a brief assessment of the facts or argument presented in the article. 

. Identify the article's main strengths and weaknesses
