Finding a desirable job often involves intense moments of uncertainty, doubt and uncomfortableness. Occasionally, great jobs just land in people's laps, but usually there is quite a bit of unseen work behind the scenes that lead to landing great jobs. It is a rare person who hasn't experienced the frustration of not knowing where to look for jobs, submitting applications or resumes that are never responded to, interviews that don't go well or never materialize, and jobs that turn out to be different than advertised. It is not the existence of these things that determine a successful job hunt, it is the perseverance in spite of them that creates career success. Although this course is not focused on finding specific jobs, it is indented to help you determine what direction you'd like to take your career once you graduate and plan the steps to get there.
