Fitness Interview - PART (2) 1 Fitness Interview - PART (2) 1. 2 Behind the success story of the name Maggy Cambronero, there is work behind the scenes besides what people just know as the milestone achievements. How is behind the scenes like, the journey that developed you into who you are? What does it take to be as successful? A lot goes on behind the scenes that people don't really see, it's a lot of training and dedication. You have to wake up every morning and work hard. I've been in the fitness industry for many years and the journey I took to become who I am today is honestly like the dedicated training I go through every day and to become successful I think it takes a lot of perseverance, you have to be willing to get back up no matter how many times you fall. I think this is the key to becoming successful in not just the fitness industry but in anything that you do. 2. Tell us about yourself. What is it you consider your strengths, and what do you consider your weaknesses? Well I've been in the fitness industry for 14 years and I feel like I have honestly done it all, I've gone from personal trainer, to pro body builder, to sponsored athlete, to body building prep coach and owner of Pro-level fitness. The one aspect about myself that I would consider a strength would be my mental toughness, it's taken me many years to condition my mind to be able to perform at a pro level. It has helped me develop an incredible work ethic, I won't stop until the task at hand gets done no matter how hard it may be or how long it takes me, I will get it done. As for weaknesses, well I have too many to mention but I always make it a priority to turn my weaknesses into strengths. 3. Having come this far in terms of a successful business and popularity given your work, what do you dim to be the greatest reward you expect in your career? Why did you choose the career? Having come this far in my career I think that the greatest reward I have received is knowing that I have helped change many people's lives for in a positive way and my hard work inspires others to live healthier lives and the reason I chose this career is because I genuinely enjoy working out and being active. I get great satisfaction from helping other people improve their health not just their physical well-being but their mental well-being too. I believe that fitness is the key to a happy body and more importantly a happy mind. 4. Tell us of a time you ever experienced the biggest challenge in your career or business, which got the better part of you? What has been the best moment in your career or business? Well one of the biggest challenges I've faced in my career has to be becoming a business owner; apart from the intimidation of opening up my own business, I faced a lot of financial issues but I persevered and I made it through but one of the best moments in my career has to be when I finally got my first check from my own company I'm not going to lie that was pretty memorable. Fitness Interview - PART (2) 3 5. What defines you? Has your career shaped you into a different personality? Honestly I don't think that there is really anything that I can say that defines me per say but my career has shaped my personality into a motivated hard working person. 6. How do you manage to keep current of the latest development in the sports and fitness industry? What has kept you relevant in the industry over the years? The reason as to why I chose to develop these questions is that I would like this interview to demonstrate the professional journey of a fitness and sports guru. The audience to this interview needs to know what it takes in terms of career challenges so that people can make professional/career choices. More so, interaction through this interview intends to provide insights and tips in the industry, aiding in the decision making process in terms of what to expect and what not to expect within the industry (Turner III, 2010).
