Flora's had arranged its insurance contract with the same agent for many years and its insurance coverage and premium costs were extensive; Flora's relied on that professional insurance agent, George Li, to recommend appropriate coverage and paid the necessary premiums without question. The inspector for the insurance company, Harry, had told George that the insurance policy with Flora's did not cover such matters as the failure of water pumps, but George did not report this gap in coverage to Flora's because he figured they'd just deal with it the next time they renewed the insurance coverage.
