1. The business is divided into departments. Each department has a name, a unique number, and a specific person who supervises it. We keep note of when the employee started overseeing the department. A department may have many locations.

2. A department is in charge of multiple projects, each with its own name, unique number, and single location.

3. We keep track of each employee's name, SSN, residence, pay, gender, and date of birth. An employee is allocated to one department but may work on many projects that are not necessarily overseen by the same department. We keep track of how many hours an employee works each week on each project. We also keep track of each employee's immediate supervisor.

4. We wish to maintain track of each employee's dependents for insurance purposes. We maintain a record of each dependent's initial name, gender, date of birth, and connection to the employee.
