  1. From the sites front page, access IBM Research. Log on the website using link above, scroll the page down, and click on IBM Research under Discover. The website is changing very quickly. So if these steps dont work, please search the website for IBM research projects.
  2. Choose three projects from the list and describe each project in a paragraph or two what this project is and what resources it requires.
  3. Can any of the projects that you selected be described as research collaborations? Why? Can any of the projects that you selected be described as academic collaborations? Why?
  4. Go back to the IBM front page, scroll down, and find Investor relations. Go to IBMs most recent annual report. How much did IBM spend on Research, Development, and Engineering in 2019? How did this compare with the previous year?

5. Reflection the students also should include a paragraph in the initial response in their own words reflecting on specifically what they learned from the assignment and how they think they could apply what they learned in the workplace.
