- Research should be robust, and should give the reader a good idea of the organization, the business strategy and products and what the product liability case is about.
- Remember that this is your opportunity to demonstrate learning, understanding and retention of international trade concepts including those discussed in class.
- Choose sources carefully and ensure that your project is well-supported with data, metrics and financials. Also, be sure to quote the source of all information and references provided.

Executive Summary | 2 | Summarize the content of the plan and highlight key points and conclusions. This is not to be confused with an introduction that would simply explain the types of information that will be revealed in the report. Rather it is a single page (or less) summary of the key facts and details. |
Organizational Profile | 3 | Detail information about the organization (real or fictional), including its history, location, mission, goals and values, as well as other relevant background information such as size, key products/services, experience in international markets and in the selected market (if applicable). |
Organizations Business Strategy | 3 | Describe the organization's current position. Does the company still exist? If so, what is the company trying to accomplish? For example, are they focused on sales growth, market diversification, improving margins, maximizing cash flow, etc.? If the company no longer exists, what was their strategy, why do they no longer exist etc. |
Product Liability | 3 | This is where you should discuss the specifics of product liability for your case. What was the product, what happened, was the company found liable for their product? If yes why, if not why? What type of product liability? |
Recommendations | 2 | What could the company have done differently that may have changed the outcome of the case? What would you recommend based on what we have studied in class? What are some risk mitigation strategies that could have/could be used? |
Conclusion | 2 | Tie the information together in a logical manner. |
