1. Oscar orders a trash can that he found for a great price and a lot of features. After his purchase has been made, the company contacts him and lets him know that that trash can is no longer available, but they do offer a similar trash can for double the price.
2. Shrek has new shingles installed on the roof of his infamous swamp house. The shingles have a 10-year warranty. After 6 months, the shingles start to fall apart and let water leak into the house.
3. Bruce Wayne purchases a security system from a door-to-door salesman for Wayne Manor. A few hours after the salesman leaves, Bruce Wayne changes his mind and calls to cancel the purchase. He is informed by customer service that the two hour "cooling off" period has passed and that he is now bound to the five-year contract he signed.
4. Professor Xavier sees an advertisement for hair restoration cream that guarantees hair growth within 60 days of applying the cream every day. Excited, he purchases the cream and begins using it. After 60 days, not a single hair has come back. He calls the company, and they inform him that all purchases are final.
5. Peter Parker is offered the opportunity of a lifetime! The opportunity involves him buying into the company for a small price of $1,000 and then earning a commission of 10% of the sign-up fee for every friend he gets to sign up.
