For my everyday appliance I chose a refrigerator. Refrigerators are designed to keep food at peak freshness as they maintain temperatures between 33-40 degree Fahrenheit. A refrigerator cycles refrigerant vapor through its compressor, condenser coils and evaporator coils. This process allows the refrigerant to absorb heat from inside of the refrigerator compartment, chilling its contents and helping to keep foods fresh. Many modern refrigerators use electronic controls and temperature sensors. When the sensors detect high temperatures the compressor is cues to release refrigerant to cool the refrigerator. This process is important to keep the food cool and fresh. I don't believe there should be steps skipped with program development because it can lead to technical issues and create more problems in the long run. You need to follow the steps to organize your program. The advantage of following the program development process is that you will be able to minimize big mistakes while doing the programming. A program development process is a set of step by step instructions to do the tasks you want it to do and produce the results you want.
