For my municipality, one of our business lines is the water utility. I support the operations group in keeping the up-time of our water service as high as possible (i.e. available 100% of the time). Product: Clean, reliable water at your tap Facilities: Water intake facility (from river), water treatment plant, 3 reservoirs (storage capacity) located throughout the city, and water quality lab (product QA/QC). Vehicles: Pumping infrastructure at plant, pumping infrastructure at the 3 freshwater reservoirs to maintain pressure throughout the distribution system Routes: water distribution network includes primary/trunk mains, local distribution mains, and individual house connections. I'm also wondering if the watermains would be considered "vehicles" since they define the carry volume of the system. Thoughts
