Business Scenario:
You were asked to design a database for the business scenario given below:
ABC is a pharmaceutical company that manufactures a large variety of drugs that are sold in pharmacies all across the U.S.
For each drug, the name and the formula must be recorded. In addition, a list of drugs that may cause severe side effects and should not be taken along with it must be provided.
Drugs are categorized or classified according to certain shared effects. The categorization process is premised on these long-standing, medically accepted facts. There are three categories of drugs. Drugs from each of these categories can affect a person's central nervous system and impair a person's normal faculties, including a person's ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
For all ABC drugs sold at the pharmacies, the sales are recorded to keep track of the prescription that includes the name of the drug, physician's name, patient's name, and the date it was filled. Not all drugs are available in each pharmacy.
A doctor may prescribe the same drug for the same patient many times.xcdcdc
