Jane has been hired as an editorial project manager right out of college When she reports to work, she finds another new editorial project manager, Brad, starting the same day. They have lunch together during training and Jane discovers that Brad graduated from a similar school with the same degree. Several weeks pass, and Jane accidentally sees Brad's paycheck. He is earning $4,000 a year more than Jane 2. Samuel is working at a local packaging facility. They often work weekends, although the plant runs a skeleton staff on Sundays. During the hiring process, Samuel explained that he cannot work on Saturdays because of religious observance. His supervisor is now complaining that Samuel's situation is complicating the employee scheduling process. He wants Samuel reassigned to a division where he will get fewer hours 3. Kalisha has had consistently positive annual reviews and has submitted her application for a promotion. She is one of several candidates. Kalisha, who is from Costa Rica, knows for a fact that Juan, one of her competitors, has had several poor reviews. Yet Juan gets the position. 4. Russell has a physical disability that sometimes forces him to use a wheelchair. He has a sharp mind and years of experience in the advertising field. His agency consistently follows his recommendations in team meetings but will not allow him to be a client manager, a promotion form his current position. They claim this will be too strenuous for him, however, Russell believes they simply do not want him to be a public representative for the Company
