For this assignment, identify and explain the specific strategy that each of the four companies: Apple (iPhone), Levis (Jeans), Toyota (Corolla), and Netflix (Original Content) use as they expand globally. For each company, explain the extent of competition faced for its corresponding product, and the extent of adaptation required as this product is sold in different countries/regions. Then use graph 13.7 on pp. 398 of the Hills text to illustrate the difference in the strategies of the four companies being examined here. With regard to the graph, think of the two axes as measuring the extent of adaptability required (on a scale of say 1 to 10), and the pressure to reduce cost (on a scale of say 1 to 10). Position each company by the corresponding measures on the plane.
