For this assignment, think of a business situation where there will be a need to store and manipulate a reasonable amount of data. Most businesses need to have some kind of database to keep track of items like customers, inventory, sales, and/or personnel. There could be many other types of data needs. Your solution will be implemented on a stand-alone computer using the MySQL DBMS.

Once you have decided on a particular business scenario, create a proposal that thoroughly describes the following aspects of the business and its data needs:

The type of business and a fictitious business name for the business.

What are types of data the business will need to maintain in the database?

Why does the business need to maintain this data?

How will the data be grouped into separate groupings?

Who will be working with the database data (which members or employees), what data will they be allowed to work with, and what are their restrictions when using the data, e.g. read-only, update, add data?
