5. A Recommendations section (You are to use MySQL as the DBMS).

My Course Project Proposal:

Detail My Ride is my hypothetical business.

It is a mobile automobile detailing service. I am the founder and the CEO of the company. I currently employ three people. These workers joined the company within the last six months because the workload has increased since Covid and I am no longer able to manage it on my own. I travel to customer sites to service the automobiles using my personal vehicle. I need to keep a record of every expense related to using vehicles for my business in order to file my taxes. I pay employees for gas per their mileage which needs to be tracked per employee per job. I also need to keep data on total mileage per month as I pay out once a month a wear and tear amount for their personal vehicle use. New employees must supply documentation of current license and car insurance. I want to keep track of all of my Amazon purchases since I buy my own supplies there. I have an Amazon business account and planned to use Amazon Redshift as my DBMS. I maintainpersonal records for myself, my coworkers, and all of my clients, including credit card numbers, addresses, and copies of ID. For both clients and workers, I also do background checks and preserve records of those findings. I maintain those data in addition to processing my own payroll through a business checking account. Employees use an app on their phone to clock in and out, then submit it to me by a certain date to be paid for that pay period. Additionally, the DBMS allowed for the completion and tracking of any certifications or employee training. However, employees would be sending their hours through the system and be able to view their hours, enter time off, read and print paystubs and w-2s, among other things.

I'd like to consolidate all of my records into one database management system as I expand my clientele and hire more staff. I'd like to be able to send clients promotional mail and/or emails, as well as reminders about scheduled cleanings, using a DBMS. Additionally, gathering demographic information from clients and maybe sending out promotional mailings to neighbors, etc. in bulk. I would be able to automatically send reminders for submitting payroll as well as schedules for upcoming workdays. Additionally, I'd like to be able to place supply orders more quickly and timely. Facing the challenges of the requirements we must adhere to as we travel to customers' homes and perform our service in their own automobiles, particularly with regard to Covid. uniformed procurement and cleaning would only work in, update, or add to the DBMS. A DBMS would primarily free up my time so that I could correctly schedule my advertising, hiring, training, and competition monitoring.
