For this assignment, you must draw an ER diagram modeling a database that stores operational data for the situation found below. You must include entities, relationships, and cardinalities. Each entity and relationship that has data associated with it must have an identifier indicated in the drawing. You can hand draw the ER diagram or use software to draw it, but it should be submitted as an image or a PDF through Blackboard. It must be legible, or no points will be awarded.

Description The Central City Dance Club (CCDC) teaches social dancing in both private and group lessons. They charge $50 an hour for a couple (or single student) to have a private lesson and $9 per hour per student for group lessons (groups are limited to a maximum of seven couples). Private lessons are offerened Monday through Saturday, from noon to 10pm Monday through Friday and from 10am to midnight on Saturdays. Group lessons are available only in the evening.

1. CCDC employs two types of instructors, full-time and part-time. Full-time instructors are paid a salary (a fixed amount each week), while part-time instructors are paid on a per-class basiss. Each teacher can teach one or more lessons of either type each week. Only one teacher is needed for a private lesson, but group lessons will frequently have two teachers present.

2. CCDC also sponsors weekly social dances with recorded music that has a theme (salsa, tango, etc.) Admission for this is $5 per person. These are popular events, as they give the students a chance to practice what theye learned. These dances are held either Friday or Saturday evening, and ocasionally both, depending on the time of year. CCDC does not provide any food or drinks, but they do allow people to bring their own.

3. All teachers are on a schedule to help staff these social dances, with at least three teachers at each dance, although there may be more. They make sure that all of the customers have a partner, and they help to choose/play the recorded music. CCDC wants to be able to do statistics on the social dances, like the number of customers and the number of teachers present for each day of the week.

4. CCDC wants to be able to calculate cost/income per-student and per-teacher, as well as to be able to advertise new teachers to current students. Advertising focuses on the style or type of dance in which the teacher specialies. They also want to be able to show the history of each customer which lessons and dance styles they have learned and when.

5. Each lesson is planned by the teacher and includes information about which style, which pieces of music will be needed, and the start time and duration of the lesson. Teachers also keep track of which dances a customer has learned.
