Such a product has never been introduced before, and the company wants to estimate the future demand for this tanker before making the decision to continue with the project.

B$)$ A dialysis clinic has long serviced a region where traditionally there is a majority of senior citizens. The population mix is rapidly changing because recently many seniors have been moving out of state for retirement, while many young families with children have been moving in to live there. The clinic wants to estimate future need for dialysis machines to treat kidney patients in its area.

C$)$ A bagel company that make unique types of bagels is considering expanding its products to Japan. The company has never tried to sell outside the US before. It wants to estimate future demand for its products in Japan.

D$)$ A kiln needs to estimate the future demand for bricks used for construction. The rates of population growth, business or civic organizations growth, and housing or infrastructure construction growth in its sales area have been fairly stable over many years, and will likely remain that way in the foreseeable future.
