You are trying to sell the senior administration on implementing an information governance (IG) program, which means getting their approval of IG, your hospital-wide implementation plan, and their support of it. Support would mean sponsoring the project. In smaller facilities, they might have a larger role such as being the project lead for certain departments.

Develop a PowerPoint presentation of your information governance (IG) plan that you will deliver to senior leadership. The proposal should draw upon your responses from previous assignments you've completed related to the project and include:

1. An overview of the IG Plan (e.g., definitions, components) Keep in mind that members of the senior leadership may not have any knowledge of the concepts of IG.
2. How your plan fits with the organizations strategic plan
3. Findings from the SWOT analysis you conducted
4. Overview of the change process you envision (e.g., timeline, stages, who will be involved)
5. Your plan on how to motivate staff to participate in the process
6. Your plans to deal with resistance (e.g., where might resistance arise? What measures will you put in place?)
7. On your last slide, include 23 questions you think senior leadership might have after your presentation
