If one task is fully staffed, there is only a 10% chance that task will be completed late, and there is now a higher chance the other may fall behind. After careful analysis, you have decided to fully staff Task A. Task B, now understaffed, has a 60% chance of a delay. If either Task A or B is delayed, Task C will start late. Task C is very dependent on supplies from an outside entity. This vendor has a 20% chance of defaulting on providing those supplies which will cause extra time to complete Task C no matter whether it starts on time or not.
